SBBF Women’s Volleyball Team Secures Second Place at Spring Festival

The Social and Human Sciences Faculty Women’s Volleyball Team stood out with their impressive performance at the MTU Spring Festival, held from May 5–8, 2025. Demonstrating determination and team spirit, the team won their semi-final match against the Emergency and Disaster Management Team. In the final, they faced the Nursing Department Women’s Volleyball Team and narrowly missed the championship, finishing as runners-up.

Rector Prof. Dr. Recep Bentli, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Gündüz, and faculty administrators congratulated the team, emphasizing that this achievement strengthens student unity and the sports culture on campus. The tournament, which featured teams from various faculties at Malatya Turgut Özal University, highlighted not only competition but also friendship and teamwork among students and spectators. During the award ceremony, medals and certificates of achievement were presented to the top-performing teams.
